Privacy policy

MatchHive 蜂盟 is a free B2B matchmaking service operated with Hong Kong users in mind. This notice explains what we collect and why, in language intended to be PDPO-aware. It is a template, not a legal opinion.

We collect account data (email, display name, job title, company, bio, industry interests), campaign boards you publish, interest and proposals, messages and optional chat attachments. Verification may include a work email or business-card image. We also keep notification preferences and basic product analytics (views, shares).

Business-card images and work emails are treated as sensitive verification data and are stored separately from the public profile. Guests never see them. Other signed-in marketers see your professional profile and campaign details, not your card file.

Processing is hosted on Supabase (database, auth, storage) and Vercel (application hosting). Servers may be located outside Hong Kong. We do not sell personal data. We do not run a payment processor.

You may request access or correction of your personal data, close your account, or opt out of marketing-style emails via the unsubscribe link. Contact hello@matchhive.example. Do not upload identity documents other than a business card you are willing to share for verification.
